The student will learn:

• the Central Dogma of Molecular Biology;
• the molecular mechanisms regulating gene expression in prokaryotic cells and in eukaryotic cells, at different levels during transcription and transduction processes;
• the molecular mechanisms of signal communication among the cells and intracellular transduction pathways; 
• the molecular mechanisms controlling cell cycle progression.
